New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis says that he sees similarities between this year’s team and the ones from 2009 and 2010 that made it to the AFC Championship.
What’s really interesting is that Revis indirectly took at shot at former teammate Mark Sanchez.
“We almost made it, and we didn’t have a quarterback,” said Revis. “Mark was solid. He wasn’t elite.”
While Sanchez wasn’t terrible in 2009 and 2010, Revis is right.
